- 1/3 C plain Greek-style nonfat yogurt
- 1/3 C low-fat buttermilk
- 3 T. mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 t. fresh lemon juice
- 1 t. dijon mustard
- 1/2 t. onion powder
- 1 T. finely chopped fresh chives
- 1/4 t. himalayan salt
- In a medium bowl, whisk together all the ingredients until well combines. Yield 8 servings
- Per serving (2 T): 50 cal, 2 g carb, 1 g protein, 4 g fat (.5 sat), 0 g fiber, 2.5 mg cholesterol, 144 mg sodium
- Orange-Balsamic Vinaigrette
- 1/4 C balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 C extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 C orange juice
- 1 t. finely grated orange zest
- 1 t. dijon mustard
- 1/4 t. himalayan salt
- 1/4 t. black pepper
- In a medium bowl , whisk together all of the ingredients until incorporated. Yield 8 servings

- Tangy Lemon Herb Avocado Dressing
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 3/4 C. low-fat buttermilk
- 3 T. fresh lemon juice
- 3 T. chopped fresh parsley
- 3 T. chopped chives
- 1/4 t. himalayan salt
- 1/8 t. black pepper
- Put all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Yield 8 servings
- Per Serving (2T): 30 cal, 3 g carb, 1 g protein, 2 g fat (o g sat), 1 g fiber, 0 mg cholesterol, 100 mg sodium
- Basic Vinaigrette
- 1/2 C extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 C red wine vinegar
- 1 t. himalayan salt
- 1 t. black pepper
- 1t. unfiltered honey or raw agave nectar
- 2 T. fresh lemon juice
- Optional: 2 t. fresh herbs: basil, oregano, parsley or dill
- Mix all ingredients together. Yields 8 servings
- Creamy Garlic Dressing
- 1/2 C. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 C apple cider vinegar
- 3 to 5 cloves garlic, crushed
- 3 T. fresh lemon juice
- 2 T. chopped fresh parsley
- 1 t. himalayan salt
- 1/2 t. dijon mustard
- 1 T. unfiltered honey or raw agave nectar
- Place all ingredients in blender and blend on medium high for 30 seconds or until well mixed.
- Caesar Vinaigrette
- 1/4 C extra virgin olive oil
- 2 T. fresh lemon juice
- 2 small cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 t. dijon mustard
- 1/4 t. worchestershire sauce
- 1/2 t. black pepper
- 1/4 C grated parmesan cheese
- Whisk together EVOO, lemon juice, garlic, mustard, worchestershire sauce and black pepper. Stir in grated parmesan cheese.
